The problem

Most poker training apps feel like dense textbooks — boring, expensive and easy to drop after a week. Real poker players learn faster when they actually play and get instant feedback.

Approach

Mobile app that turns poker theory into 5–10 minute daily challenges. Players see real hand situations, make a decision, and immediately find out why their move was right or wrong. Long-term progress tracking shows each player exactly where they're improving.

Result

Over 20,000 downloads in the first month, an average rating of 4.8 stars, and 65% of new users coming back the next day — well above the industry average for learning apps.

Zak was an outstanding developer to work with. He delivered work remarkably fast without ever sacrificing quality. He consistently beat expectations on turnaround time, and communication was seamless throughout. What impressed me most was his ability to make smart design decisions independently while still thinking things through thoroughly. He made an effort to understand the product and implement the web solution in a faithful manner. He struck the perfect balance between moving quickly and being deliberate. I'd highly recommend Zak and would absolutely work with him again.
